FURTHER INFO & SBAR EVIDENCE OF TITLE
50
years after the Assembly Rooms east side path was laid on SBAR
titled land, the Almhouses’ trustees made a sudden and
spontaneous claim to the path and barricaded the Assembly Rooms oil
tank with a padlocked gate. The sign placed on gate by Almshouses
trustees reads: -
"Anyone
requiring access to the Assembly Rooms oil tank should call 01594
530905 giving 24 hours notice for the gate to be unlocked"

NB: this
action is
NOT
instigated or supported by the tenants of the Almshouses whatsoever,
all of whom have nothing to do with the dispute being made on their
behalf.
Many thanks to parishioners for your
support as local volunteers are are being forced to defend this
hostile action on behalf of our community.

THANK YOU!
A great big thank you to all of you who have helped
do their bit towards our community owned facility!
Apart from a small army of volunteers, we have had donations of
paint, equipment & cash, cakes. A number of fund
raisers have also been held, such as Art & Craft
Fairs,
guided walks with lunch, fabulous choir concerts, a
lady's pamper night, and regular Quiz Nights! It all
helps.
If you are interested in joining the committee or
can lend a hand in some way, or for more information,
please email:
